The Rippling Mind!

Experiences in life leave marks on our inner self which may last very long & reach very deep. Whether they were right or wrong is a separate thing. These can be powerful enough to get carried across lifetimes as our self-beliefs. We may not be able to trace the origin without help & grace, but can recognize the power it has on us, who we think we are, who we rather wish to be, how we show up in the world etc. At the core these hold our energy as hostage, unavailable for progressive action. When this start playing in loop they become the cause of biggest energy drain for us. We feel tired, uninspired. Loops are dangerous. Origin of disease.

Signature of such marks is that we feel held back in certain aspects of our preferred living or acting. The shift they made in our self-view, became so much embedded in us that we accepted them as our truth, even though very uncomfortably & sadly. These never make us feel light, free, bright or uplifted in the particular regard.

Let’s say we decided it’s time to get over this grip. We feel we can progress in the direction we prefer if there is a way to get over this block.

How to make the shift? Stop feeding the old, establish a new. Feed the new until old fades away. Become the new. Stepwise below-

1.    Identify the fear at the bottom of this belief. There is always one. Choose to drop it aside.

2.    Find a replacement positive belief.

3.    Carefully construct the sentence. Use simple words, small sentence, very coherent, & definitely not around harming other.

4.    Each time old belief raises its head, say the new positive construct twice the time.

5.    Adopt a practice of making the new establish itself by writing it down. Do it as many times a day as u feel the need.

6.    Adopt baby actions that reflect the new view. To begin with watch out for habitual responses, words, reactions.

7.    Anchor self in a power higher than you. It may be any representation of divine to you, or magnanimous aspect of nature. A daily ritual to root in the higher has far reaching benefits. Attach an ask for help.

8.    Remember self-view shifts are journeys, some shorter, some longer. The correctness of direction is the key. Stay with the process.

9.    Repeat.

Fulfil the dreams!
